Osthoff Size 1 Rio Rosewood Guitar

Osthoff Guitars logo

Osthoff Size 1 Brazilian Rosewood Guitar (New)

  • Old Growth Brazilian rosewood back & sides - an exquisite set with spider-webbing figure!
  • Attractive Adirondack spruce top
  • Abalone rosette & top trim
  • Slotted headstock with figured rosewood face plate
  • Golden Age Tuners with Ivoroid buttons
  • Ivoroid fretboard & body bindings as well as end graft
  • Ebony fretboard with abalone fret markers
  • Ebony pyramid bridge
  • Bone Nut & Saddle
  • Handmade "Art Studio" Hybrid Case
  • This is our first guitar from John's Traditional series and I must say, we are mighty impressed!  This lil' guy is great for throwin' down some blues. But, can also be played subtly fingerstyle.  Holds its own strumming too. The finish is similar to what you find on Martin Authentic model guitars. It is low gloss and smooth as silk. We love it!
  • Another note: we just acquired a 1917 Martin 0-21 guitar. This guitar sounds very similar and even has a similar headstock. John Osthoff rocks!
